Yvonne is Tlingit (Eagle/Killer whale) from Juneau, Alaska. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Management Information Systems from the University of Alaska Anchorage. After graduation, she began her career at IBM in Boulder, Colorado, where she worked for 12 years, spending her last years as an AIX systems administrator.

Seeking a career change, Yvonne moved to the vibrant, outdoorsy town of Twin Falls in south-central Idaho. Her professional journey brought her back to supporting Alaska Native communities, including her recent work for Tlingit & Haida as a Rescue Relief Small Business Grants Eligibility Technician, remotely assisting Tribal members from 2020 to 2024.

She enjoys hiking and kayaking, often exploring the stunning landscapes around her.
